I love Super Junior. Super Junior is a fifteen member Korean pop group that I've been listening to for the past one years or so. I first heard about Super Junior from my friends, when she introduce me to super junior's sorry sorry.^^
Super junior seems to be the funniest and cutest, espeacially when they are in entertainment shows
Sitting up late at night watching the music video for the first time, I had no idea of the future impact it would have on my life, causing me to be addicted to them XD.
Although some people say that Super Junior does not play good music. On an purely intellectual level, their music offends their sensibilities. They don't write their own lyrics, and the backround music is a mash of synthesized chords jumbled together in sterile studios for maximum mass-produced enjoyability.
But the members (all fifteen of them!) do have some talent, although it seems that their primary selling point is not their singing, dancing, or showmanship, but rather their clear-eyed smiles and dazzling good looks (in the past).
People critized heechul for his bad singing, kyuhyun for suddenly joining Super junior but there are people who still support them, showing that they also have their own charm and talents.
Super junior had a great impact on my life. I suppose that if you calculate hours lost to my sister and I browsing the internet for details of them. But in the end, Super Junior also introduced me to Korean popular culture, and made me notice that learning korean(a new language) is so fun.
Before I knew Super Junior, all I know about Korea was that north Korea and south korea aren't on good terms, and that koreans respects their hyungs and parents.
After knowing Super Junior, I'm more keen to live in Korea and visit korea now...
